These terms govern your use of MUSIC CUP, a free web app operated by Lambda Tech (LAMBDA TECH PTE. LTD., Singapore). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

MUSIC CUP lets you run a knockout tournament for the songs of an artist you love and crown a champion. Song titles, artwork and audio previews come from Apple's public iTunes Search API; we do not host music. The service is provided free of charge, and features may change, pause or end at any time.

Accounts

Signing in is optional. You can sign in with Google, Apple, X, or a code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping control of that inbox and of the third-party accounts you sign in with.

You can delete your account at any time on the account deletion page. How account data is collected, stored and deleted is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

• Do not disrupt or overload the service, probe or bypass its security or rate limits, or access it with automated tools at abusive volume.
• Do not use the service for anything unlawful, and do not attempt to claim tournaments that are not yours.

We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service.

Content and intellectual property

All song titles, artwork and previews belong to their respective rights holders and are served through Apple's public API under Apple's terms.

The MUSIC CUP name, logo, design and code are ours. Finished tournaments contribute anonymous results to public charts as described in the Privacy Policy; these aggregates carry nothing about you and remain part of the charts even after you delete your account.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of a free service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above always reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
